Physarum Forest

During the pandemic, when indoors training options where closing down, a local park became our playground. A very satisfying discovery! A short danvce film with the following elements:

• algorithmic video composition
• physarum simulation
• outdoors movement research
• dealing with what is in the mind and around

Physarum Forest was selected for the Athens Video Dance Project Festival 2021 and Pärnu Art Week

The video was programmed in openFrameworks, the music in SuperCollider. Source code for the sound can be found here
